Henry volar approach should be the choice if plating is unavoidable.

Though closed interlocking nailing could be least invasive option - of course, if appropriate nails are available and the technique is familiar to you.

I think that locking nailing would be more reliable construction for this case, if you haven’t got possibilities to make it, you can make osteosynthesis by simple Kuntscher nail or Bogdanov nail, with postoperative immobilization by cast. Thank you for your attention!

A locking plate Cost about 1000 usd more or less it sounds cheaper but the people has very low income for your works.

May be K-wires from processus stiloideus radius and plaster. Cheapest variant! Or device of external fixation. Plating is very traumatic. Ideal would be intelocking nailing
